Hiding Those Pesky Electrical Cords

Wow, where has this month gone? I’m already to Day 29 on my 31 Days of Flipping Out, and I still have projects to finish. I’ve walked around this little project for weeks now and because of this challenge, it is finally done. And it took 5 minutes.

31 Days of Flipping Out

Electrical cords are pesky in that they are just not pretty.

31 Days of Flipping Out

I installed a command strip underneath the lip of the table.

31 Days of Flipping Out

Next, I simply wound up the cord and tied it with a twist tie.

31 Days of Flipping Out

Then I hooked the bundle on the Command Strip.

31 Days of Flipping Out

Ta Da!

No more pesky wires! And I used household items. How do you hide your electrical cords?

I will be doing this to several plugs in my home this week. Thank you. I found you partying on A Little R & R. Looking forward to connecting.

Very clever! Cords are a pet peeve of mine. I also peel off all those tags adhered to the cords. It just makes me feel better.

Love the command strip idea because it is strong and will hold. I’ve used duck tape before but eventually it falls. I will be doing it your way from now on.
    Thanks for the tip.

This is such a simple solution to one of my pet peeves! I’ve photographed several beautiful homes and had to edit out the power cord because it really stuck out like a sore thumb!
