A Literal Flip

On day 5 of 31 Days of Flipping Out, we have a literal flip to talk about. I was getting ready for the day one morning, when I got all flustered because my bathroom counter wasn’t organized. For those of us who live in small spaces, counter space comes at a premium price and I’m not willing to give up very much.  Not even in the bathroom. So, with mascara on one eye I went searching through the condo for a fix to my counter dilemma and this is what I came up with.

31 Days of Flipping Out

This is my cake stand that was purchased a few years back from Southern Living. It has been one of my favorites, but I needed to use it differently for a while. I’m sure Betty Crocker will understand.

31 Days of Flipping OutSo I quite literally…flipped it over for a new use and no I don’t eat chips and dip in my bathroom.

31 Days of Flipping Out

The dip (center) section is now used for toothbrushes, paste and whitening strips.

31 Days of Flipping OutAll my ladies toiletries are on one side of the stand.

31 Days of Flipping OutAnd Mr. Cozi’s are on the other.

31 Days of Flipping Out

It’s quite compact, which was exactly what I needed. I hope you enjoyed my little flip today! I feel I’ve forgotten something… Oh, yea, mascara! I need to finish that project, too!

What have you repurposed, lately?

Now that’s thinking outside the box! Great idea! It’s amazing how innovative you become when trying to make the most of small spaces. 🙂
