Christmas, What’s It All About?

What exactly is Christmas all about? Each year we decorate, shop, wrap and give gifts away. We attend church, sing carols, eat too much, and exhaust ourselves with all of the extra things to do during the “holiday” season. I ask you, how does this relate to celebrating the Savior of the World’s birthday? Here are a few sites that I believe have a good grasp on what it’s all about…

Christmas is for Sharing.

Gift wrapping? Save the paper.

Tis the season to be jolly.

And, this is my personal favorite…This is what it’s all about…

All of these videos were wonderful. Mary Did You Know is one of my favorite songs and they sang it beautifully. I also love to hear the Gaithers sing it. Christmas is for Sharing was also great. Thanks for sharing these with us. Sure helps to give me the Christmas Spirit.

If we’re doing all of it…the shopping, the wrapping, the eating, the decorating… with the heart of a child, then all of it relates to Him. Two of my favorite child-o-meters are peace and joy. 😉 What’s that you say? You never heard of a child-o-meter? teehee

On another note, I had no choice but to start my page over due to way too many details to get into here, but I’ll share some time. What a ride it’s been this past month in blogland, but you and all my dear blogging friends have been such an encouragement. Thank you, Kim.
Wishing you and your loved ones many blessings this Thanksgiving and always.

Scratch the second paragraph of this comment, Kim. I finally heard from a WP rep and my page was unlocked. Yay! Staying put at http://marciapilar.net.
I could write a book on last month’s blogging journey. 🙂
