If boots are made for walking, then sandals must be, too. As I prepare for an upcoming vacation, I’ve been faced with a slight dilemma. If you are planning on doing a lot of walking, but want to look a bit fashionable, what’s a girl to shod her feet with that is made for activity, but doesn’t look like it? I refuse to wear my white sneakers.
In my everyday wear, I wear lots of wedges, but if you are going to be on your feet A LOT, and part of the tour will be on cobblestone streets, wedges could be a sprained ankle waiting to happen. The following is what I’ve decided to pack in my less-than-45-inch carry-on.
In the last year or two, I’ve discovered that Anne Klein has joined the comfort band wagon, and I love how stylish they are. These do not look like orthopaedic shoes and they are affordable.
And for those days when a wedge will work, I don’t leave home without my Antelopes! I LOVE these shoes recommended by my fashion friend, Linda. They are too cute and so comfortable. These are a favorite because they are slip-ons. They are great for airport security.
