Holiday Travel Outfits
Ladies, are you looking for the best outfits for flight travel during the holidays? My motto when flying is to look comfortably stylish. Here are a few outfits that meet that criteria:
Of course one of the first places I stopped was the Travelers Collection at Chico’s.
This outfit includes the Bordeaux Paisley Jacket for $149 and their signature easy wearing Traveler’s Pants ($40 at this writing) and tank top for $19.99.
Next, I checked in at J Jill because they also carry very comfortable, yet stylish clothing options, especially in their “Wearever” collection.
This lovely A-line top is only $49.99, with the ankle pants at $79.99. Throw on a black cropped sweater and you’ll be on your way.
For a bright, cheerful, stylish all-weather coat that is fully lined, stop in at Travel Smith. This hooded rain coat has princess seams, hand-warming pockets and an extra pocket on the interior. This is a great selling point for us, ladies! How often does anyone put an interior pocket on a coat for women? It sells for only $159 and ranges in size from S – XL.
And then, for those overnight flights, clothing that is comfortable enough to sleep in…
This top from Soma is designed to wear all day and into the night. The top has lots of stretch, sells for $79 and is sold in their Loungewear collection. Paired with leggings, this is nice enough to go out, comfortable enough to stay in.
Talbots has these incredible cashmere scarves for $79.50, along with these fabulous three-quarter length leather gloves for $99. There are lots of colors to choose from, but I love this Imperial Purple.
And for ultimate comfort for your feet, Macy’s carries these boots by Clarks. Today, during black Friday, they are marked down from $170 to $99. They come in black and brown leather.
No matter where you shop or how you are traveling. I leave you with this Irish blessing…
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
