Refresh Your Furniture with Farmhouse Paint Giveaway

Ok, so I didn’t learn everything I need to know in kindergarten. For example, at 5 years old my idea of updating furniture would include magic markers and finger paints. Ann Taylor and Jennifer Pierce taught me some new tricks of the trade that I couldn’t wait to share with you. Farmhouse paint is not chalk paint, but you use it like chalk paint – only easier. The thing I love most about it is that you won’t get bored watching this paint dry. It dried super fast.

Easy steps to refresh furniture or other items

  1. Wash your project with a little dish soap and water.
  2. Paint with color choice. I used Cotton White and love the results.

  4. Lightly sand. Finished! Or…
  5. If desired…Apply antiquing gel and allow to dry.
  6. Lightly sand.

Since I wanted the finished product to look more shabby than chic, I used a dry brushing technique that was super simple.
